BEHIND THE MUSIC
Creating and inspiring every moment in Nepalese music.
Born and raised in Dharan, Nepal, my musical journey began at an early age and was nurtured through my education at Eureka Residential School and National Academy Higher Secondary School, where I completed my studies in 2007 and 2017, respectively. In 2017, I co-founded Freebirds Nepal, a rock band that gained national recognition as the First Runner Up in the “Band Champion Nepal, Season 1” reality show in 2022. Alongside my band, I have collaborated with artists like Ankita Pun and Purna Rai, expanding my skills as a session bassist. Driven by a passion for creating engaging musical experiences, I continuously push the boundaries of my craft, contributing to the rich tapestry of Nepalese music. My abilities as a songwriter and composer, coupled with my multilingual communication skills, enable me to connect with diverse audiences and adapt to various musical styles.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
In addition to my technical skills as a bassist, I am also an accomplished songwriter and music composer. I pride myself on my ability to entertain and engage audiences, both through my musical performances and my strong communication and socializing skills. A quick learner by nature, I continuously seek to evolve and adapt in the ever-changing landscape of the music industry.
SESSION WORKS
Beyond my work with Freebirds Nepal, I have also had the opportunity to collaborate with other notable artists. I worked as a session bassist for Ankita Pun’s debut album “Maili,” contributing to its recording and production. Currently, I am working with Purna Rai as his session bass guitarist, participating in both studio recordings and live performances. These experiences have allowed me to expand my musical repertoire and gain valuable industry insights.
